I'm passionate about finance and love spending my free time researching and trading stocks. In my freshman year of high school, I realized there wasn't a finance club at my school and decided to change that. I got together with some friends and we founded the Los Gatos High School Stock Market Club.
As the President of the club, I shared my self-taught finance knowledge with my peers and helped teach them about investing, saving, and managing money. We had weekly presentations and even had a stock market simulation competition. The leadership team and I worked hard to make sure we covered all the most relevant topics and I even helped write and present many of the presentations and set up the investment simulator. Overall, it was a great experience and I'm glad I could positively impact other students' understanding of finance.
